Biography:

Grady, Alexander (b. 1744, Lenoir County, NC; d. 26 Feb 1821, Duplin County, NC) Married in 1770, probably Duplin County, NC to Anna Thomas (b. 1746, Duplin County, NC; d. 30 September 1825, Duplin County, NC); he lived in what is currently Albertson Township of Duplin County. The family home was in Serecta in a community called "Chocolate". 

Will dated 14 Jan 1819 -- probated during October Term 1825 wife ANNA all my Property During her lifetime and then to my children (not named)

Service: Private in NC Militia, Captain Kenan's Company, General Richard Caswell's command at Battle of Moore's Creek Bridge on 28 February 1776. Served as a Militia man from 1781-1783.
